Emeriti Newsletters

The UCLA Emeriti Newsletter is published three times per year: Fall (in October), Winter (in January), and Spring (in April). Each issue begins with a message from the Emeriti Association president and concludes with a report from the director of the Emeriti/Retirees Center. It also includes:

  • Announcements of the upcoming season's Emeriti Association dinner meeting, after lunch programs, and other events such as the Spring Arts and Crafts Show;
  • Invitations (in the Fall and Winter) to nominate candidates for Constantine Panunzio, Dickson Professorship, and Emeriti Association award candidates;
  • Reports meetings of CUCEA (Council of UC Emeriti Associations) per results of the triennial Emeriti Activity Surveys, formerly Biobibliographic Surveys, and matters affecting the welfare of the emeriti;
  • News of honors conferred, new assignments, recent research and publications, gifts made to UCLA, and other items of interest concerning individual emeriti;

To all emeriti: if you have been honored with an award, written or edited a new book, undertaken a new initiative, planted 500 trees, or have news you would like to share with others, please inform the Newsletter editor via emeriti@errc.ucla.edu.
